City Siege Sniper Walkthrough

City Siege Sniper is the fourth game in the City Siege series of shooting games. City Siege Sniper retains the colorful graphical style and quality audio of prior games of the City Siege line, but also features a style of gameplay that sets it apart from the rest of the series.

In City Siege Sniper, your mission is to take Snafu Island. Unlike prior City Siege games, you will not be storming the island with a squad of soldiers; instead, you will be going it alone as a sniper! In order to liberate each section of the island (in other words, complete each level of this sniping game) you will have to eliminate all enemies. Detection does not necessarily equate to failure, but if you are spotted, the enemies will fire upon you. If you take too much damage, you will fail in your mission. Luckily, your progress is automatically saved one of three save slots chosen at the beginning of the game, so you will be able to continue your campaign if you fail or if you quit and come back later.

City Siege Sniper uses a combination of mouse and keyboard controls. Use the arrow keys (or WASD keys) to scroll the map. The mouse is used to aim and to shoot your currently equipped weapon. To change weapons, press and hold the spacebar to duck, then click on the icon of the weapon that you wish to equip. taking cover is also an effective way to regenerate health and avoid taking damage from enemies.

At the beginning of each level of this shooting game, you will have the opportunity to purchase ammunition, upgrades, and additional weapons. I advise you to make sure that you have enough ammunition for your weapons before buying anything else. Your starting weapons, the handgun and rifles, are enough to beat the game, so stock up on rifle ammo (your handgun has unlimited ammo) and upgrade them to their maximum levels. If you do decide to purchase additional weapons, you should avoid buying the shotgun; this is a sniper game, not close quarters combat game! If you need more money, try to keep civilians alive on each mission to earn more cash!

City Siege Sniper differs from the precedent set by the previous games of the City Siege series, but it still delivers high-quality gameplay that is simple enough for casual gamers to understand and challenging enough to keep hardcore gamers entertained. Fans of the City Siege series may find City Siege Sniper to be peculiar at first, but will eventually become captivated by this addictive sniper game!
