Stoneage Assassin 2 Walkthrough
If you have played the original shooter game: Stoneage Assassin, if you are looking for sniper games that will keep you busy during your lazy coffee breaks, this is a good candidate!
Stoneage Assassin 2 is a suspense-filled and action packed sniper game that is set in the stoneage period. This stoneage sniper game continues on directly after final / ending the events of the original shooter game.
Within this gritty and epic sequel, we get back to the beach, which is the site of the final encounter between you, playing as the father, and the hunter who abducted your daughter and their leader. The leader of the hunting pack and the father (the player) who turned into an assassin in his quest to find his kidnapped daughter square off in this game.
Here's the twist, mislead by a fabricated message left for him, your character tries to take out the leader of the hunting tribe who has taken his daughter a couple of years before.
HOWEVER, as the events turn out, it is revealed that his daughter was disguised and dressed as the leader. Precisely because of this, she now lays fatally injured in the arms of her father, the same man who made the fatal and fateful blow. And to make things worse, a surprise long ranged attack then injures your character... the REAL leader then appears before them. It's from here where the story continues.
Tips And Tricks:
- Just like in other sniper games, this game requires precision shooting. You see, your ammunition is very limited for every level. To be precise, your crossbow only has 5 arrows...nothing more. Make sure those 5 arrows hit and take out enemies.
- There are no life bars or hearts in this game. If you are too slow in taking out enemies and you get hit yourself, you're dead and you need to restart the level.
- Keep a close eye on the bar above the enemy units. They speedily get filled...once they are filled, your enemies make the shot. You either need to kill them before the bar gets filled and turns all red... or, if there's too many of them, duck as quickly as possible.
- Aside from quick reflexes and precision sniping, you also NEED to read the Mission Briefing before diving in. It contains vital intel to finish the level... information that, if you ignore, could lead to your demise!
Summing things up, this game really rocks! There are only a handful of serious sniper games about the stoneage period. I guess the pre-historic tribes are underrated primarily because there's so little information about them.
The only quibble I have is with the mission briefings. The pronoun usage is a little hard to read and it's filled with grammatical errors. BUT, that's about the only thing I don't like in this game. It shouldn't be enough to turn you off... unless, of course, you are a Grammar Nazi, then this part of the game could cause a heart attack.
